Provisional/Limited Practice Facility Accreditation
Kootenay Veterinary Clinic has been granted Provisional Approval to Operate with terms and conditions pursuant to bylaws s. 3.16, effective March 12, 2020. The terms and conditions include:
- monitoring of compliance with CVBC bylaws and standards, including medical record keeping and controlled drug management.
Updated March 13, 2020 pursuant to bylaw s. 3.2.
Coombs Veterinary Hospital has been granted Provisional Approval to Operate with terms and conditions, which include:
- Dr. Emily Carrington has been appointed as the “Designated Registrant” and is the only veterinarian working at Coombs Veterinary Hospital.
- Coombs Veterinary Hospital will be open to the public Tuesday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, provided Dr. Carrington is in attendance for at least 7 hours each day. Coombs Veterinary Hospital will not be open in the event that Dr. Carrington is not present.
- Closures and operating days and hours will be prominently displayed outside the facility at all times.

Boundary Country Veterinarian Services Ltd. (formerly called Grand Forks Central Veterinary Services) has the following limitations pursuant to Bylaw s. 3.14 and 3.16:
- Veterinary services exclude radiology and dentistry.
