Registration Application Guide

Individuals are expected to review the information provided here to ensure that they meet the requirements for registration (or expect that they will meet the requirements reasonably soon) before making an application for registration to the CVBC.

The Veterinarians Act establishes the procedures for registration applications and decisions. The CVBC’s Registration bylaws (Part 2) detail the requirements for registration with the CVBC.

The application fee is non-refundable and applications are considered valid for one year from the date of activation (receipt of application package plus payment of the application fee).  After one year, if progress is not being made on the applicant’s part to complete their application, the application will be considered abandoned and the file will be closed.  Any future effort to become registered will require an entirely new application (forms, documents, fees).
