- University of Guelph Certifcate in Laboratory Animal Medicine
Offered since 2004, the Certificate in Laboratory Animal Medicine provides continuing education and applied training to licensed veterinarians employed in the field of laboratory animal medicine. The Certificate in Laboratory Animal Medicine program combines online and applied training modules. The nine-week theoretical module is offered online three times each year in February, May and October. Three applied modules provide one-week, practical, hands-on placements to acquire specialized knowledge and skills. Regional training centers are assessed by the Canadian Council on Animal Care. The next offering of the Introduction to Laboratory Animal Medicine. Theory course starts on May 25, 2009.
